Golden Pedal 2026 Race Details
4th Annual Golden Pedal Food Bank Fundraiser
Sunday February 1st, 2026. 10am start
Max number of Teams = 12 (14 teams absolute max)
The Golden Pedal Food Bank Fundraiser is an indoor team bike relay race held in the Schoolhouse Brewery taproom. Teams compete for the coveted “Golden Pedal” trophy as they raise money for the local Food Bank.
New for 2026. There will be 2 race classes. Recreational and Professional.
Professional Division
-Teams of 4. 10min/ member relay.
-Admission is a $150 donation per team to the Windsor Food Bank.
-The seat may be adjusted during the race by another team member.
-Only one team member allowed on the stage at a time.
-No bonus meters will be awarded.
Recreational Division
-Teams of 4. 10min/ member relay.
-Admission is a $100 donation per team to the Windsor Food Bank.
-The seat may be adjusted before the race starts but no seat adjustments are allowed during the race.
-Only one team member allowed on the stage at a time.
-“Bonus meters” are given to teams that meet the criteria outlined below.
Race Details
Teams of four will race in a 40 min relay on two “Zwift” bike trainers connected to avatars projected to a big screen in the Schoolhouse Taproom. Each team member is required to cycle for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the next team member must transition onto the bike (with the clock still running), and cycle for another 10 minute cycle - this will repeat for each member. Teams will initially be ranked on the distance they cover in the 40 minutes.
Teams will start on the hour every hour. Tournament schedule and virtual competition “Zwift” route will be released during the week before. Teams are only required to be at the event for their race time slot.

-Competitors must use the bikes provided (equipped with standard platform pedals).
-The seat may be adjusted before the race starts but no seat adjustments are allowed during the race.
